RIP Arturo Vega. His influence on the history of punk rock is huge, as the designer of The Ramones’ iconic logo and many of their album covers. I had the pleasure of meeting him at Warped Tour ‘08, where he told me stories of how he was more like a father to The Ramones, and not just their art director, for the 22 years they were around. One thing I know is that as long as kids are playing four chords, we’ll all keep wearing Ramones tees.
