On the last Spirit Fangs tour, we spent a lot of time listening to Japandroids on our long drives. Songs like “The Boys Are Leaving Town” just fit perfectly with what we were all experiencing. For most of us, it was our first out-of-state tour. For me personally, it was my first tour and my first time playing music outside of California. It’s definitely an experience I’ll never forget and, now, anytime I hear a Japandroids song, it’ll remind me of this.
